Two hospitalized after pedestrian struck in York City

YORK, Pa. – Two people are hospitalized after a pedestrian is hit by a moving vehicle in York City. It happened at about 3:58 p.m. Wednesday along the 700 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

When police arrived on the scene they found the pedestrian 28 year old Cheyann Miller, of York, was reportedly trapped beneath a vehicle for a time. She was taken to York Hospital where her condition is listed as serious.

The driver of the vehicle, 25 year old Tyler Connelly, of Manchester, was also taken to York Hospital. He is also reportedly listed in serious condition.

So far no criminal charges have been filed, York City Police say their investigation continues.
