Three people shot after two overnight shootings in York

YORK, PA. -A  violent night and early morning in York City left three people injured in two separate shooting incidents.

According to York County 911, there were multiple reports of shots being fired in different locations throughout the night and into the early morning on Friday.

Around midnight officers were called to the area of Beaver and Hamilton streets for shots fired. Officials say two people went to the hospital by private vehicle from the scene. The severity of their injuries are unknown.

Then just before 2:00 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of East King Street for shots fired. One man was taken to the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

York City Police are investigating, no word on any suspects.
