Turkey Hill robbery suspect tried make rooftop escape before arrest

LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster City Police arrest the suspect in the robbery of the Turkey Hill store at 460 South Duke Street.  It happened at about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday night. During the course of the investigation, City Detective Tom Ginder was able to identify 26 year old Branden A. Yellets.  Detective Ginder obtained a warrant for the arrest of Yellets, charging him with Robbery.

2_th_robbery_8_9_16Friday afternoon at about 2:30 p.m, Officers from Platoon C and Detectives went to an address on the 500 block of South Christian Street to locate Yellets.  With police closing in Yellets attempted to evade arrest by climbing through a 3rd floor window onto the roof. He eventually came back into the home and was placed into custody at approximately 2:53 pm without further incident.
