YORK, Pa. –  On Saturday August 6, York City Police investigated a shooting in which several shots were fired into a home in the 200 block of South Penn Street, striking an 11-year old child in the shoulder.  Detectives identified the shooter as Marquez Jabar McCowin, 28, and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with Aggravated Assault with a firearm, Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure and lesser included offenses.

Friday morning, deputy marshals and members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested McCowin without incident in the first block of North Seward Street.  He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office Central Booking Unit for processing and judicial proceedings.
