HARRISBURG, Pa.– UPDATE –  UPDATE – UPDATE

Boykin was taken into custody on at 10:00 Tuesday morning when she arrived at Harrisburg Hospital for a laceration she received during this incident.

PREVIOUS STORY: An arrest warrant has been issued for a Harrisburg woman who stabbed her boyfriend during a fight on Sunday, according to police reports.

Catherine Boykin, 28, is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and instruments of a crime. She remains at large.

The incident happened along the 500 block of Woodbine Street just before 4 a.m.

Police say when officers arrived at the scene they found the victim, an unidentified 35-year-old man, with a stab wound to his back. His friends were applying pressure to his wound and the man had trouble speaking.

The victim indicated to officers that Boykin had stabbed him during a fight, according to police reports. He was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-558-6900 and ask for a detective or supervisor.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to Boykin’s arrest.
