CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.–A Chambersburg man was arrested Wednesday in New York  by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

According to authorities, 34-year-old Jamar Drew Carter was wanted in the August 4 shooting of a man in Chambersburg. It happened along the 100 block of South Main Street.

Witnesses identified Carter as the shooter and he has been on the run ever since, investigators said.
