FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa.– One man is in custody after a standoff that lasted for several hours in Gulford Township.

Brandon Mason, 27, became enraged at a female victim over his weight equipment being moved. He loaded a gun and pointed it at the victim’s head. She was able to flee and call 911.

Officials say that Mason barricaded himself inside a home on Paul Mar Drive around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A perimeter established around the residence while police obtained an arrest warrant for Mason. He peacefully surrendered to authorities sometime before midnight. No one was injured during the standoff.

He has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and making Terroristic Threats.
