Update: Man killed in Harrisburg Saturday shooting identified

HARRISBURG, Pa. – A man who was killed in a weekend shooting in Harrisburg has been identified.

Harrisburg Police officers responded to multiple shots fired at Hummel and Swatara Streets late Saturday night. They found Henry Liriano-Aquino, 45, lying on the ground unresponsive on Saturday, August 20, according to police reports.

EMS transported Liriano-Aquino to a local hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead prior to arriving at the hospital, police said.

Anyone who has information that could lead to the arrest of the shooter or shooters is asked to contact Harrisburg Police. When providing information, call 717-558-6900, and ask for either a detective or supervisor.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering up $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in the shooting. Tips remain confidential.
