East Pennsboro School District announced an early dismissal for the high school and elementary school today due to air quality issues.

The high school will dismiss students at 9:30 am. The elementary school will dismiss at 10 am.

East Pennsboro High School and East Pennsboro Elementary will remain closed Wednesday, August 24th so that further testing can occur. The district says they will continue to conduct air quality testing to determine the extent of the concern and any actions the district needs to take.

The district’s first priority is to ensure the safety of all students and staff, according to a statement, and to keep our community and families updated with our findings and any necessary plans to resume normal operations. All after school activities will occur as scheduled.

Other district schools are open.
