LANCASTER, Pa. - Lancaster Public Library has locations in the city, Leola and Mountville. In a given year, 400,000 people use the services provided by the Lancaster Public Library.

"A place for seniors to learn how to use the computers. Where job seekers can look for jobs and print our resumes. We provide services for entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. We have resources for everybody to get the information that they need," said assistant director Heather Sharpe.

The library  gets minimal funds from the state, municipality or county.

"Over 63% of our funds come from community donations, fundraising events, volunteers who operate book sales," said Sharpe.

On September 19 they are holding a golf outing at Bent Creek. Registration for the event has been extended to September 12.
