Heat indices feel like the middle 90s this afternoon.

HEAT/HUMIDITY IN PLACE: A weak cold front crosses through during the first half of the dry, but conditions are mainly dry for Friday. Conditions are hazy, hot, and humid. Many locations make it Eventinto the lower 90s by Friday. After some showers before sunrise, the clouds break up through the morning. Expect plenty of afternoon sunshine. The humidity is very uncomfortable, and this makes temperatures feel like the 90s.

Humidity levels stay muggy through the weekend.

TOASTY WEEKEND: Temperatures continue to hang a bit above seasonable averages through the weekend. Expect readings in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees on Saturday, and the humidity is still in place. It’s dry, with some intervals of clouds from time to time. Sunday is a bit hotter. Expect temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s with hazy sunshine.

NEXT WEEK: The warm pattern remains in place through early next week, but conditions turn more unsettled. Our next slow moving system brings a return to shower and thunderstorm chances during the afternoon on both Monday and Tuesday. Expect temperatures to remain above seasonal averages, in the upper 80s to lower 90s. The humidity, of course, remains high as well. Skies turn sunnier Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures also fall out of the 90s.

Have a great weekend!
