YORK, Pa.-- No barbecue is complete without some great cooking.

Today, Olivia's has come to participate in our Beer & BBQ Friday, and are cooking up some Americ-Ale Burgers, Buffalo Beer-Battered Calamari,  Coal-Fired Pulled Pork, and a cocktail. These will be paired with beers that help match and add to the food's flavor.

The recipes for these treats can be found below:

Juicy Americ-Ale Burgers
Makes 5 burgers
2lbs ground chuck
6oz AmericAle Amber ale
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Pinch cumin
Pinch granulated garlic
Pinch of oregano
Mix all ingredients, form patties, and grill.
Buffalo Beer-Battered Calamari

2 lbs Kalamari cut, cleaned, cut into 1/2 inch rings
4oz Liminal Moment IPA
2 eggs (mix the beer and eggs for your eggwash)
BREADING:
2 cups flour
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp old bay
1 tsp oregano
How to bread the Calamari:
1- dip in flour mix
2- dip in beer and eggwash
3 - back into flour mix
4- fry until crispy do NOT over cook! (When it floats evenly in the oil it is ready)
BUFFALO SAUCE:
1 cup crystal hot sauce
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped parsley
3 oz melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together then add your cooked Calamari.

Cocktail
Leather & Lace
South county Day Rider IPA beer
Elderflower liqueur
Pear nectar
Fresh lemon
Simple syrup
Ice
Add ice, elderflower liqueur, pear nectar, & fresh lemon, shake.  Top off w beer. Enjoy
