LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Police say fingerprints have linked Joshua Ironlee Perry, 30, of Columbia with the robberies of Rite Aid stores in Middletown, Dauphin County and Stewartstown, York County, in addition to the July 14th robbery of the Rite Aid at 1786 Columbia Avenue in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.

West Hempfield Township Police were able to identify Perry after submitting his fingerprints on August 4th to the Pennsylvania State Police Harrisburg Regional Laboratory for analysis. The prints matched Perry from an unrelated offense.

On August 22, West Hempfield detectives learned that Perry had confessed to Dauphin County investigators that he had committed the robberies at the Rite-Aid Stores in Dauphin County, in York County, and the robbery in West Hempfield Township. Arrangements were made for Perry to turn himself in to the Dauphin County investigators but he failed to show and is still at large.

West Hempfield Township Police Department detectives charged Perry today with Robbery,  Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Possession with the Intent to Deliver. Magisterial District Judge Miles Bixler then issued an arrest warrant for Perry.

Anyone with information regarding Joshua Perry’s whereabouts are asked to contact the West Hempfield Township Police Department at (717) 285-5191.
