HARRISBURG, Pa- Harrisburg police arrest man after he robbed a Family Dollar Tuesday night.
According to police, Alexander Mendez-Bruno, entered the store along the 400 block of S. Cameron Street and threatened the store clerk with a knife.
Mendez-Bruno demanded money from the register but was un-able to get any money due to the register being emptied prior to his arrival, police said.
Mendez-Bruno grabbed multiple items before he fled the store.
Police searched the area for several hours before arresting Mendez-Bruno after a brief foot chase along 13th and Kittatinny Street.
Mendez-Bruno is now being charged with Robbery, Escape, and Resisting Arrest
