Citizens Bank armed robbery suspect may be stained with red dye

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – Lower Paxton Township Police are on the lookout for an armed bank robbery suspect. Police responded at about 10:37 a.m. this morning for a report of a robbery at the Citizens Bank, 5999 Allentown Boulevard.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank, said that he had gun and demanded cash from the teller. After he was handed some cash he then fled on foot west behind the BELCO Federal Credit Union building. Police also say that red dye pack hidden with the money exploded. It is believed the suspect’s clothing and the stolen cash is likely stained red.

Police released several surveillance camera images of the suspect. He is described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 to 5 feet 11 tall.  He was wearing blue sweats, a gray shirt, sunglasses, a black baseball cap and red bandana across his face.
