ERIE, Pa. – Joshua Perry, suspected in a series of robberies of Rite Aid stores in Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties is arrested with two others in Erie.

At about 11:30 a.m. this morning, Middletown Police and Southern York Regional detectives with the assistance of State Police in Jonestown and Erie, closed in and captured Perry, and his two accomplices in a motel on the outskirts of town. State troopers in Erie obtained information that Perry was in the area.

Perry recently fled from York County to Erie to avoid capture and was spotted at the Erie County Fair last night. It was reported to local police who contacted the Middletown Police Department. Subsequent efforts to track Perry led to the motel in an area he was known to be.

In addition to charges filed by Middletown Police, Perry and accomplice, John Lebzelter of Lebanon, face similar warrants on robbery charges from Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. It is unknown if a third suspect, Susan Bass, will be charged at this time.
