LYKENS, Pa.– A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of Lykens Borough in Dauphin County. Borough officials tell FOX43 customers who are served by the Wiconisco Water Tank should boil their water before use until further notice.

According to reports, a water main break was found on Saturday, and has caused a depletion of water reserves. Crews are currently working to repair the break in a 10-foot water line.

Customers are urged to boil their tap water for two minutes before drinking. This advisory is expected to remain in effect until possibly Thursday.
