Expect low humidity levels and plenty of sun for Labor Day.

Labor Day afternoon temperatures are on the warm side.

LABOR DAY: The Labor Day forecast is quiet, but on the warm side. Hermine continues to churn far enough east to keep skies mostly sunny for the region. Humidity levels remain fairly comfortable, and there’s a light breeze at times. Expect afternoon high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s.

Humidity levels slowly increase through the middle of the week.

HOTTER & MUGGIER: A gradual increase in humidity takes place through the middle of the week. Temperatures increase too. Hermine retrogrades west just a touch, before drifting back northeast overnight. It’s enough to bring some afternoon 4Day_Highsclouds mixed with sunshine. The humidity increases a tiny bit, with highs in the middle 80s to 90 degrees. Wednesday is warmer under partly cloudy skies. Highs once again hover near the 90 degree mark. It feels quite muggy, and the humidity levels turn oppressive by Thursday. More 90s are expected, with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A stray thunderstorm or two is possible, but most should stay dry.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The heat and humidity continue into the first half of the weekend. Friday and Saturday highs are near 90, and then in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Theirs is the chance for a few thunderstorms later during the day on Saturday with the next system. Cooler and less humid air works in on Sunday. It’s sunny, with temperatures still on the warm side, in the middle 80s.

Have a great Labor Day!
