York City Police arrested four adults and two juveniles Friday, Sept. 2 for stealing firearms.

Police arrested 18-year old Austin Barnes, 18-year old Esmeralda Fernandez, 23 year-old Khafre Johnson, 19-year old Davonte Perez, and two 17-year old juveniles. The York City Police Nuisance Abatement Unit executed a search warrant at 202 Pattison St., where they found the reportedly stolen firearms.

Seized at the residence was a Colt 1911 .45, Smith and Wesson 9 mm, Ultra Star 9 mm, Accu-Tek .380, and Baikal 9 mm – all handguns. Police also reported that they found heroin packaging materials, and a small amount of marijuana.

All the suspects, police report, were charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and receiving stolen property.  Barnes, Johnson and Perez were also charged with felons not to possess a firearm.  The juveniles were also charged with firearm possession by a minor.

Assisting in the operation was the US Marshal Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the York City Narcotics Unit.
