2 injured in overnight shooting in Columbia Borough

COLUMBIA BOROUGH, Pa.– Police in Columbia Borough say an early Sunday morning shooting left two people injured.

It happened just after 3 a.m. along the 200 block of Locust Street.

According to police reports, a large fight broke out involving patrons of the Venues nightclub. Witnesses told officers they heard multiple shots being fired.

Investigators say no shooting victims were located at the scene. As police were conducting their investigation, two people showed up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds related to the fight, authorities said.

No word on their identities or conditions.
