NEW YORK CITY– Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is fighting pneumonia. According to her doctor, the diagnosis was made on Friday.
Clinton abruptly left the 9/11 commemoration event in New York on Sunday morning after saying she wasn’t feeling well. She was taken to her daughter, Chelsea’s nearby apartment.
Dr. Lisa Bardack, Chairman of Internal Medicine at the Mount Kisco Medical Group, says the presidential nominee became overheated and dehydrated during her 90-minutes at the ceremony, but she is recovering nicely.
The physician also says Clinton has been put on antibiotics to treat pneumonia and he has instructed her to rest.
