LEBANON, Pa. — The Lebanon County Drug Task Force (LCDTF) announced the arrest of a Lebanon City man in connection with the distribution of controlled substances. Authorities allege Matthew W. Nieves, 33, of 419 Canal Street, sold crack cocaine to a police informant from his Canal Street residence, two different times during August and September 2016.
On September 10, 2016, the DTF executed a search warrant on Nieve’s residence. Crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, a 9mm handgun and drug packaging materials were found.
Nieves was taken into custody and transported to the Lebanon County Central Booking Center where he was processed and arraigned on charges including two (2) counts of Delivery of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine, two (2) counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility, Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. Nieves was ordered held at LCCF on $25,000 bail.
