SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa.– A man was arrested after a burglary and K-9 search that led to a stolen firearm and his location.
Kevin Shipper was arrested on burglary charges early Saturday morning.
At 5:15 a.m., police were dispatched to an active burglary on 39th St.
Shipper was gone when police arrived, but a resident was able to provide a description of the suspect and his last known direction.
Police engaged in a foot pursuit of the suspect and established a perimeter around his general location while calling for a K-9 unit.
The K-9 was able to establish a track, which resulted in locating a stolen gun and Shipper, who was taken into custody.
