Manhunt for Dollar General store armed robbery suspect in Perry County

PERRY COUNTY, Pa. – State and local police launched a manhunt for an armed robbery suspect in Perry County early Monday evening.

Police responded just before 6 p.m. to the recently opened Dollar General store  along the 500 block Sherman Valley Road in Centre Township, near New Bloomfield, Perry County.  The suspect walked into the store displayed a knife at a store clerk.  The bandit fled the store some cash.

The robber managed to elude a massive search. He is described as a white man, between 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a baseball cap.
