SPRING GARDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police in Spring Garden are investigating a rash of home break-ins and thefts from vehicles. The latest occurring Wednesday morning along the 1600 block of Second Avenue. Thieves targeted three separate residences along the same street, according to police reports.
Officers were dispatched to a home along Second Avenue for a burglary report around 3:55 a.m. It is unclear what was taken in the break-in. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Alisha Graybill at (717)843-0851 or e-mail her at agraybill@sgtpd.org.
Minutes later, around 4:06 a.m. , police received notification of second burglary at another home along the very same block. Anyone with information concerning this burglary is asked call Officer Tomas O’Brien at (717)843-0851 or e-mail him at tobrien@sgtpd.org.
The third incident happened around 4:40 a.m. Officers were already in the neighborhood investigating the prior burglaries when they received information about an attempted theft from a vehicle. The would-be victim told police that someone had entered their garage and car which was parked inside.
