CLOUDS TO SUN

After some much-needed rain fell the past two days, the skies will brighten for Tuesday. Morning fog, which may be dense at times, and clouds begin the day but drier air, courtesy of high pressure, filters across the area clearing the skies later in the day.

Morning lows start off in the middle and upper 60s, and temperatures rebound to the lower and middle 80s by afternoon. Abundant sunshine is here the rest of the week as high pressure dominates the area. Wednesday, highs continue in the lower and middle 80s. As the fall season begins Thursday, it is warmer and more muggy in the middle 80s! Stamp a ditto for Friday as it is another very warm and humid day to end the week with highs in the upper 80s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

Fall lovers get ready! A big pattern change will lead to significantly dropping temperatures. We flirt with 80 for Saturday but a weak cold front sags south. It may trigger an isolated shower or thunderstorm early then it’s partly sunny and breezy for Saturday evening. Canadian high pressure clears the skies and, ushers in much chiller air! Morning lows plummet to the 40s and 50s. Despite plenty of sunshine, highs struggle through the upper 60s to hit 70 degrees. Winds are breezy out of the north much of the day.

FIRST FULL WEEK OF FALL

It’s a cool morning in the 40s and 50s Monday morning. Brilliant sunshine in the sky for the day helps to warm temperatures to the lower 70s, which is more seasonable.
