WEEKEND COOLING: A potent cold front crosses through during the weekend, bringing our first blast of fall air. As the front crosses through Saturday, there’s added clouds and a small chance for a few showers or a thunderstorm. Highs are near 80 degrees. By Sunday, cool, Canadian high pressure briefly settles into the area. Temperatures drop to near 70 degrees!
NEXT WEEK: We’re eying another fast wave with another cooler push of fall air through early next week. Ahead of this system, Monday is more seasonable for this time of year, with temperatures in the lower to middle 70s. Clouds build quickly, and we could even see a few late day showers. The system is out of here by Tuesday, and briefly cools us back down through then.
Have a great Tuesday!
