Pennsylvania, and the United States as whole, are in the midst of a heroin epidemic.
All over the country, heroin is becoming more potent and more readily available to addicts. With the new strength of this heroin, many more people are overdosing than ever before.
While those who use heroin often end up facing charges or dying, those who deal the drugs are able to profit off of these people’s lives and don’t face the same consequences.
Our question is, if someone takes drugs and dies of an overdose, should the drug-dealer be charged with homicide?
