MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- Antique fire apparatus, firefighting competitions and fire prevention education exhibits were on display Sunday at the 3rd Annual York Fire Muster.

The event took place at Cousler Park and featured fire prevention activities and the display of more than 50 pieces of firefighting equipment spanning over 14 decades.

For the kids, there were a variety of games, face-painting and a balloon artist.  The festival chairman says this event isn't just for the little ones though.

"To see not only the kids come out, but to see the older folks come and see the engines like behind me, the ones they drove in 1960. The whole history of the fire service is on display here today," Robert Straw said.

For the fire buffs and collectors, there was an on-site flea market with different kinds of fire items and memorabilia for sale.
