MORE SUNSHINE AND MILDER TEMPERATURES

High pressure brings another bright day Thursday.  With the sunshine, temperatures climb into the lower to middle 70s.  As Hurricane Matthew hugs the southeast coast, high clouds drift in for Friday, we start the day with plenty of sunshine.  Highs are still mild in the 70s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

We continue to watch the track of Hurricane Matthew.  It is key to our forecast for the weekend.  A cold front approaches Saturday bringing more clouds and perhaps a few showers.  However, Matthew may track close enough to the coast bringing additional clouds, showers and gusty winds, especially to the east.  Stay tuned to our social media pages and to FOX43 for updates. Temperatures are held in the 60s.  Behind the departing front Sunday, sunshine slowly returns. Winds are breezy and temperatures are cool in the lower 60s.

NEXT WEEK

It’s back to the sunshine for Monday. A few clouds may mix in and out, and temperatures are still in the 60s, however, they are above average.   A weak front slides through Tuesday with nothing more than clouds and a very small shower chance.  It is a touch milder with highs near 70.  Wednesday, high pressure returns along with sunshine and temperatures back in the 60s.

Stay with FOX43 Weather for updated changes to the forecast through the rest of the week!

Have a good day!
