HERSHEY, Pa.-- The arrival of October means the return of fall.

The changing of the season means new events to attend, both outside and indoors.

Hersheypark in the Dark kicks off October 14 and will run for three straight weekends. It features something for everyone, with Treatville, dark rides, and Creatures of the Night at Zoo America.

The Hershey Half Marathon is set for Sunday, October 16. While tickets are sold out for the event, you are welcome to come volunteer. A few members of the FOX43 team will be participating in the race, so make sure to come out and cheer them on!

A number of performances will take place during October as well. Dream Theatre is at the Hershey Theatre on Saturday, October 8. Bill Maher will take the stage on Friday, October 21, and some of our Olympic heroes will rock the GIANT Center during the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions on Tuesday, October 25.

Finally, it's the return of hockey season! The Hershey Bears are already practicing, and will host a preseason game this Sunday against the Penguins at 5 p.m.

The Bears will open their home season on Saturday, October 22 at 7:05, which will be followed by Pink in the Rink the following evening.
