LANCASTER, Pa- A Lancaster man is being jailed after his 12th conviction of stealing from a store.

In June, David Springer, took a $4.49 bottle of Advil from a Giant in Lancaster Township. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s office said that Springer paid for other items at the store but stashed the bottle of Advil in his pocket.

Springer will serve, four months in Lancaster County prison, with eligibility for work release, 5 months of house arrest, 14 months of parole and three years probation.

The retail theft charge was a felony because it was  Springer’s 12th  conviction, police said.
