LANCASTER, Pa- A man who was wanted for stabbing his girlfriend in the face, was arrested at a motel in York County.

Lancaster City police say on October 6th, they received information that Ravouth Cheng was possibly staying at a motel in York County. Detectives went to the Econo Lodge along the 200 block of Arsenal Road in York County and found that someone had booked a room under the name of Cheng’s 4-year-old child.

Lancaster County detectives contacted Northern York County Regional Police, as the motel was in their jurisdiction and police were able to go to the room where Cheng was inside.

Cheng refused to come out of the room and barricaded himself inside, police said.

After two hours of negotiations, Cheng surrendered and exited the room. He was taken into custody without further incident.

Cheng was transported back to Lancaster County prison where he is committed in lieu of  $1,000,000 bail.
