SHIPPENSBURG TWP, Cumberland County, Pa- State police in Carlisle say a 46-year-old Uber driver harassed a female passenger when he transported her to her house.

According to police, on September 18th around 2:00 a.m. Uber driver, Vincent Messan, of McConnellsburg, picked up a 22-year-old girl in Shippensburg borough with a request to take her to her house in Shippensburg Township.

During the drive,  Messan flirted with the girl, commenting on how beautiful she was and asking her to go on a date with him.

Once they arrived at the girls house, she attempted to get out of the car but Messan had the child safety locks on the back door. The girl told Messan to let her out of the car. Messan responded by saying he would let her out if she would give him her phone number, police said.

Messan eventually let her out of the vehicle, cornering her against the vehicle and kissed her.

The girl was able to wiggle free before she ran to a safe place.

Messan now faces charges of harassment and false imprisonment.
