YORK, Pa. - On a given day, Stacey Springer, is a pilot. She has been for 10 years. Two years ago she started working for American Airlines and says she was surprised when she learned flight attendants go through training about human trafficking. She thought it was just an international issue, but learned it is a problem everywhere.
She decided to do something about it and formed a branch of the organization Churches Against Trafficking. They have had a few meetings with great response.
"The one thing that you can do is going to be different than the one thing I can do and that`s what`s so great about this," she said.
Their next meeting is October 18 at 7:00 at St. David EC Church in Dover. All are welcome.
