Cash, dozens of packs of cigarettes stolen in Turkey Hill armed robbery

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – East Lampeter Township Police are on the look out for the suspect in an armed robbery at the Turkey Hill store in Smoketown.  It happened at about 11:48 p.m. Monday night.

The suspect, with his face covered walked into the store brandishing a knife and demanded money.  He fled the scene with cash and 51 packs of Newport cigarettes.   The lone store employee was not injured.

The bandit, described as a thin build white male, between 20-25 years of age, and six feet in height, was wearing a black shirt with grey sleeves and jean pants.
