MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Six people have been charged in connection with a shooting outside a York County hotel on August 20.

Investigators say the victim, identified as  Myannh Legette, met 23-year-old Kristopher Ray in the parking lot of the Econo Lodge along the 200 block of Arsenal Road in Manchester Township to sell Ray a gun.

Upon meeting Legette in the rear part of the parking lot, Kristopher Ray sent a message to his brother, 23-year-old Jordan Ray who was nearby in a white van.  Jordan Ray then pulled up alongside Legette and the passengers in the van, identified as 23-year-old Khafre Johnson and another unknown man, exchanged gunfire with Legette, according to police reports.

At that time,  Kristopher Ray got out of his vehicle and fired at Legette, police said.  Legette was struck in the back and leg and was taken to York Hospital by friends.  As the group was leaving, Kristopher Ray shot at 21-year-old Justin Martinez who was alongside the hotel, according to police reports. Martinez fired back at the vehicles as they left the area.  Three vehicles were damaged owned by patrons of the hotel.
