Police: Chambersburg man held three people against their will

A 33-year old Chambersburg man who held three people against their will was arrested and charged, police report.

William Jack Caldwell, who allegedly assaulted two women and one man, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 12. Chambersburg Police Department responded to a call on Birch St., which is where they found Caldwell.

Caldwell, after his arrest, provided false identification to law enforcement officers, according to a Chambersburg Police Department report.

Caldwell was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault and false identification, police said.
