Route 30 bridge was closed due to motorcycle crash, names of victims released

WEST HEMPFIELD TWP, Lancaster, Pa- A crash along the Route 30 bridge near Columbia in Lancaster County has  closed all lanes along the bridge for hours.

York County control confirmed that crews responded to a crash involving two motorcycles and two vehicles around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials say two people were  taken to Hospitals in York with serious, potentially life threatening injuries.

A second minor accident was caused in the backup from the crash, and has since been cleared.

On Wednesday, officials released the names of those involved in the incident. However, there was no update on their conditions.

Those involved were as follows:

Travis J. Forry, 21 of Yoe, PA operating a 2005 Suzuki 1000 motorcycle.

Shawn E. Baummer, 24 of York, PA operating a 2001 Honda 600 motorcycle.

Patricia L. Schnably, 65 of Freeland, MD operating a 2016 Toyota RAV 4.

Donato J. Perez, 27 of Dover, PA operating a 204 Chevrolet SUV.
