Early morning shooting in Manheim

MANHEIM, TWP., Lancaster County, Pa. –Police are investigating a shooting reported early Friday morning in Manheim.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg and is being treated at an area hospital.

As of Friday morning, no one is charged or in custody.

At 1:15 a.m., Manheim police officers responded to a report of a gunshot near the intersection of North Charlotte and Gramby streets.

Police found the man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He apparently was shot on a sidewalk near the intersection.

Police continue to gather evidence and interview individuals. The identity of the wounded man is not being released at this point.
