LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. -- A teen was arrested Friday in Lancaster who was wanted for opening fire in the parking lot outside a York City high school football game last month, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's office.

Stephon D. Brown, 15, is charged with aggravated assault, possessing a firearm without a license, possessing a firearm as a minor, criminal mischief and  2,000 counts of reckless endangerment.

Brown had been on the run for over a month following the Sept. 9 shooting at Smalls Athletic Field, which injured two men.

On Friday morning, U.S. Marshals and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit took Brown into custody, without incident, at a home in the 200 block of Nevin Street.

Brown has a Reading address, but has connections to Lancaster, according to sheriff’s office officials.

Investigators received information that assisted in finding Brown’s location in Lancaster.

Brown was taken back to York County following his arrest. The York County District Attorney's office will prosecute the case.

The shooting prompted the York City School District to move all of William Penn Senior High's home football games to Saturday.  The school board will look into the possibility of moving the games back to Friday night next season.
