Lebanon Catholic High School teacher charged with sexual assault

A Lebanon Catholic High School teacher faces charges, after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a minor.

Jesus Omar Sandoval, 27, has been charged with Statutory Sexual Assault, Institutional Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors, Unlawful Contact with a Minor and Indecent Assault with a person less than 16-years-old.

The charges stem from an investigation involving Sandoval and a former student.

Sandoval is accused of allegedly having sexual conduct with a female student who was 15-years-old. The contact allegedly took place between October 2013 and June 2014.

Police notified the school district on September 15 when they were investigating the incident.

Sandoval has been on administrative leave since, and has been fired. Sandoval turned himself in to the Lebanon Police Department on Friday.

Sandoval is currently in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.
