WEST YORK BOROUGH, Pa. –Police in West York are looking for a woman they say pulled a gun on a kid who threw a rock at her car. It happened on Friday, October 14th, at 10:15 pm in the first block of S. Highland Ave. A juvenile apparently threw a rock at a passing vehicle. The motorist got out of her car and allegedly brandished a handgun.

Within the past month, West York Borough Police say they have taken several reports of juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles, in some cases causing damage. Several juveniles have been identified and charged.

Police say parents need to talk to their kids about the dangers and consequences of throwing anything onto the roadway, at any vehicle or person. Not only is it illegal and could result in fines and restitution for any damage, but it could also cause accidents or even be deadly.

Police say the suspect who pulled the gun is a black female, possibly in her 30’s, with dreadlocks, who was wearing white glasses and driving a purple Nissan sedan.

Anyone with information is urged to contact WYBPD at 717-854-1975 or the TIP LINE at 717-478-8477.
