YORK, Pa.-- October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and many organizations are taking the time to help engage in activities that will help in the fight against cancer.

Mary Kay is no different.

The foundation supports finding a cure for cancers that affect women as well as hoping to end domestic violence.

To raise funds, Mary Kay will be hosting its 11th Annual Ladies Tea at the Lancaster Farm & Home Center.

On Sunday, October 23 for 2-4:30 p.m., the group will be holding a silent auction with donated items while being provided with finger sandwiches, tea, and a dessert buffet. For entertainment, the group will be holding a mini-musical called "Once Upon a Mary Kay." There will also be a special guest speaker who will share about the Mary Kay Foundation and the impact it is having on communities around the world.

Tickets are $20, but anyone under 16 years of age can enter for $10 when they are accompanied by a paying adult.
