HARRISBURG, Pa.-- The Wish Upon A Food Truck Festival is returning for its second annual gathering.
The festival, which will be held at HACC's main campus in Harrisburg, will host 35 food trucks. It will be held from 11 - 5 p.m. on Saturday. There will be children's activities and characters, and the event will be hosted by Erik from the Samboni Boys, who was the Runner-Up to the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race. A silent auction for sports memorabilia will be held as well. FOX43's Ali Bradley will be attending the festival!
However, the true reason for the gathering is that a special wish reveal and celebration for an 8-year-old Make A Wish child will be unveiled at 2 p.m.
Today on FOX43 Morning News, Sherrie Davis, the Make-A-Wish organizer, will be previewing some of the trucks that will be at the festival.
Bill Lewullis, owner of Willy's Q Shack, will be cooking up a 'Bowl of Q" and Matt Marafioti, owner of Mara-Leo's, will be preparing meatballs. Check out their creations in our 8 a.m. hour!
