NORTH MIDDLETON TWP., Cumberland County, Pa. — Police say a burglar in North Middleton Twp. pried open an apartment door and stole cash, alcohol and empty CD cases.

It happened sometime between 5:30pm Friday, Oct. 21 and 10:30 am Sunday, Oct. 23. Police say the burglars got into the apartment on the 900 block of Harrisburg Pike by cutting through the screen door and then prying open the door, damaging the lock and door frame.

Police think the burglar may have used a wooden ladder on the side of the building to gain access to the garage roof, which gave access to the 2nd floor balcony door. Once inside, the burglar rummaged through drawers, stealing over $100 in cash, 100 (empty) CD Cases and a bottle of alcohol.
