Cooler and breezy Tuesday with a Freeze Warning in effect Tuesday Night

Tuesday is cooler and still a bit breezy. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 50s.




Temperatures are quite cold tonight, with many falling into the upper 20s to middle 30s. This likely ends the growing season for many.

BREEZY & COOL: Tuesday features more sunshine, but it’s cooler, and still a bit breezy too. The winds don’t entirely settle during the morning, adding an extra chill in the air. Readings make it into the upper 30s to middle 40s.severe Plentiful sunshine continues for the afternoon, with a few clouds at times. Continuing breezes add an extra chill to already cool afternoon readings. Highs are in the middle to upper 50s. It’s a cold one for the overnight period, with an area wide freeze likely. The winds relax under clear skies. Temperatures fall in the upper 20s to middle 30s.




Some more breezy days are ahead for the end of the week.

SOME SHOWER CHANCES:  Wednesday is a break from the breezes, but clouds increase ahead of our next system. Temperatures are still cool, in the lower to middle 50s. Thursday, the next system crosses through, making for a damp day. Expect widespread showers, with temperatures in the 50s. It’s breezy too. Sunshine briefly works in Friday. Highs are back to seasonable averages, in the middle 50s to lower 60s.



WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Another system brings showers to begin the weekend. A few showers are possible Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 50s to middle 60s. Skies are dry, and sunshine is back in time for Sunday. A shower still can’t be ruled out. Sunshine is back in full force for Monday. Readings are a bit above averages.
