SUMMERDALE, Pa. – Some students at Central Penn College donated bras as part of a breast cancer awareness event called Bras Across Campus, which raises money for the Feel Your Boobies Foundation. Faculty and staff were also encouraged to participate by donating their bras, and students were asked to raise money for the foundation. All the bras were strung across the campus and organizers say they got a lot of people involved.
“It feels absolutely great,” Lindsay Adair, organizer of Bras Across Campus. “We did a lot of outreaching via Facebook and social media. We got a lot of students involved with it. People at my parents work, at Manor Care, actually came to help and donate everything so, it was a lot of fun.”
A check for over $600 was donated from the college to the feel your boobies campaign.
