EAST PENNSBORO TWP., Cumberland County, Pa,- Police in Cumberland County are asking the public’s assistance with help in identifying a purse snatcher.
According to police, the woman victim was standing in front of Shur Fine Grocery store in the Summerdale Plaza in Enola, Pa, loading her groceries into her vehicle, when a male suspect attempted to steal her purse from her shoulder.
The male did displayed a knife and demanded the woman give him her purse, before he fled in a smaller metallic blue compact vehicle (possibly a Chevrolet).
The suspect is being described as wearing a cream-colored hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up over his head. Police are unsure of his hair color.
Police are asking the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call the East Pennsboro Police Department at 717-732-3633.
