HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Expect a chilly trick-or-treat!  Once the sun sets, temperatures tumble quickly to the 40s.  Children may need an extra layer to their costume to stay warm.  Skies are clear and the breeze is light to calm. This will allow temperatures to drop to the 30s by morning.

TURNING MILDER AGAIN

After a cool start Monday, temperatures look to recover a bit heading into Tuesday. A warm front lifts through the area allowing warmer air to move in for a few days. Under partly sunny skies, high temperatures only manage to warm to the middle and upper 50s to near 60 degrees. However, with more sunshine Wednesday, and a stronger west-southwest flow, afternoon temperatures jump to the lower 70s.  Our next front arrives Thursday with the threat for showers during the afternoon and evening.  Before the first drops fall, we manage to sneak in another mild day with highs in the upper 60s to near 70s degree.   As we end the week, the chilly, fall air returns.  Plenty of sunshine but a brisk north wind holds temperatures in the 50s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

The weekend looks dry with partly cloudy skies.  Highs are near 60 for Saturday but by Sunday, afternoon temperatures warm to the middle 60s.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS THIS WEEKEND

I will be reminding you daily this weekend is the end of Daylight Saving Time.  We turn our clocks back one hour Saturday night before heading to bed.  It is also a good time to remind you to check your smoke detectors and make sure they are working properly.  Of course, do not forget to check CO Detectors too.
